The ENTP Acronym

Following the four-letter type, ENTP stands for...

(E) Extraverted:

They gain energy from interacting with or leading other people.

(N) iNtuitive:

Curious minds generating big ideas, improving systems or processes.

(T) Thinking:

Rely on logical, rational facts when making decisions.

(P) Perceiving:

Spontaneous and flexible instead of a rigid structure.

ENTPs have an entrepreneurial nature and charismatic personalities. They mix and mingle easily at a party or any social gathering. They communicate effortlessly regardless of anyone s background. They love to learn about other people, new ideas, and adventures. Visionaries have an endless curiosity about the world, like a kid who constantly asks, "Why?

It is my greatest joy to serve others. I gain great pleasure from pouring out of the reservoirs of my education and life-learned experiences. Every time people gather, there is the opportunity for the most remarkable exchanges, which is light. Light for me comes in the form of speaking truths that make dimmed eyes see. Not only does light allow us to see better, but it does so much more. When Light is applied appropriately, it allows us to appreciate the darkness for which we have come out. I find it quite interesting that Genesis speaks of how God creates the heavens and the Earth in darkness before He commands, β€œLet there be light.”

Maybe you and I are being constructed amid all this darkness, preparing us for the Light!

OVERVIEW of the ENTP Personality

The ENTP is an innovator driven to solve complex problems. They are curious, brilliant, and strive to understand people, systems, and principles. ENTPs represent only about 4.5% of the population. They enjoy joking around and playing with ideas, often teasing their friends' habits or eccentricities. Even though ENTPs like to challenge other people, they are generally not judgmental. However, they don't have much patience for those unable to keep up with them. Unlike most brilliant people who like to create new plans, they are not interested in taking action. They are satisfied with coming up with the plans and letting someone else build the rocket. This does not mean they are lazy - they simply get distracted easily. They are charismatic brainstormers who think quickly on their feet and enjoy learning.
